Our experienced technicians will provide you with the calibration certification, maintenance records and electrical safety records.  Be aware of non experienced of technicians claiming to repairs your equipment without medical experience, history, and correct technical documents.

FAQs

How to pack my physiotherapy equipment?

  1. Gather the unit and all accessories together.
  2. Wrap the unit with protective material, such as bubble wrap, or packing tissue paper.
  3. Pack the unit in a proportioned box according to the size of your equipment.
  4. Enclose a note stating what the issue(s) are and return address in the box.
  5. Fill the empty space with packing peanuts or bubble wrap if necessary
  6. Use packing tape to tape up the box
  7. Stick the shipping label on the box.
  8. Ship your packed equipment to us using your choice of courier to:

What should I pack?

Please pack ALL accessories for your modalities. For example: include ALL ultrasound heads when shipping ultrasound. Include all electrodes, leads and power cord when shipping IFC units

How long does it take to calibrate / repair my modality?

We have a 48 hour turnaround time UPON RECEIVING your machine in our shop. This does NOT include shipping time frame.

I need a Loaner! What is your loaner policy?

Loaner option is available for an additional cost of $100. Once you receive the fixed machine from us, please ship the loaner unit back to our warehouse within 2 business days with tracking number. We charge a late fee of $10 per day for each day the unit is late.

You will be held 100% responsible for any late fee, lost, missing accessories or damages to the loaner unit.

What is CSC's return shipping guideline?

We use standard ground delivery to return your repaired units with delivery signature required. Approx. transit time*:
2 day(s) to greater vancouver areas.
3 days to BC, AB.
5 days to SK, MB.
7 days to ON, QC , NB, NS and NL

* transit time is an approximate

I need my unit back sooner! Can I do that?

Yes, express shipping is available at an additional cost of $20. We will ship it with express air delivery. Approx. transit time is 2 - 3 days.

What happens if my unit is beyond calibration?

If any repairs are needed beyond calibration, we will contact you with estimated quote before we proceed with any repairs. Additional costs of parts & accessories may occur.

What happens if my unit is not repairable?

We will inform you if your modality is NOT repairable. We can recycle the unrepairable units if you wish. In this case, you will not be charged with the full price but an estimate cost of $60 will be applied. Return shipping also will be applied, should you need the unit to be sent back to you.

Why should I choose CSC for servicing my equipment?

After the calibration, our experienced service technicians will provide you with calibration certification and electrical safety documentation for your record.

As a clinician or clinic owner, you absolutely MUST stay in compliance with regulatory obligations or you risk putting your clients at harm or losing your entire clinic to liability.

College Of Physical Therapist regulations You MUST:

  • Annual calibration and electrical safety testing must be completed
  • Provides evidence that the necessary steps have been taken to ensure that equipment is safe for patient use
  • Maintained and calibrated according to manufacturer recommendations
  • Appropriate infection control procedures are in place
  • Maintain a written record of all repair and maintenance services
  • Work in accordance with regulation

Here are the regulations for British Columbia and Ontario. For other provinces, check with your provincial college regulations

Don’t risk landing your clinic in liability! Even if you do not have direct control over the maintenance of equipment, for example, your employer is responsible; you are expected to take reasonable steps to ensure the safety of the equipment
